NAUI Nitrox (EANx) Diver Course

You may be wondering what is this Nitrox stuff. First of all, EAN stands for Enriched Air Nitrox. This is basically just regular air with a higher percentage of oxygen than the normal air you breathe.

Why would you want to dive with Nitrox??

• Nitrox can extend your maximum bottom time on many dives
• Nitrox is considered safer and healthier than compressed air
• Risk of DCS can be lowered when using Nitrox.
• People generally say they feel better when diving with Nitrox

Upon successful completion, you will be considered competent to utilize EANx (up to 40% oxygen) in open water diving activities without direct supervision
