NAUI Rescue Diver Certification Course

This course trains divers in the knowledge and skills needed to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies.

This will teach you to:

• Identify and prevent factors that lead to diving accidents
• Manage an accident scene.
• Identify and properly assist skin or scuba divers experiencing diving difficulties (muscle cramps, rapid breathing, exhaustion, etc.)
• Properly surface an unconscious diver from under water and transport and remove from water

Participants must:

• Be a certified scuba diver by a NAUI recognized agency. (PADI, SSI, YMCA, etc)
• Have an accredited First Aid and CPR certification (Can be included as part of course if desired)

This course will serve as a pre-requisite for NAUI Training Assistant, Leadership Courses and Instructor Courses
