Introductory Scuba Dive

This is designed for individuals who are interested in an underwater experience but are not certified divers and do not wish to take the full course at this time. This scuba introduction will not qualify you to dive on your own but will give you the necessary training needed to dive while being closely supervised by your instructor.

Introductory Scuba Experience Consists of:

• A beach briefing which will cover diving safety and techniques as well as site specific information.
• Introduction to basic diving skills in a confined water area of the dive location.
• 30 minute to 1 hour closely supervised tour of dive site.
• Optional second dive.

Participants must:

• Be 12 years of age or older
• Demonstrate novice level swim stroke proficiency.
• Be free of any respiratory, circulatory illnesses.
